Hi Guys,

Can anybody yell me where I can find someone to replace my Land Rover Defender Windscreen in NSW. I live in Kellyville (North West Hills District) and also what they will charge.

Is the cost of the seal usually extra because my seal is beyond repair.

Thx

Defender windscreens are readily available from just about any windscreen specialist. I have got them for my 110 (same as Defender) from O'Briens in both Dubbo and Canberra without any problems at all, and also got quotes from the other windscreen suppliers in Dubbo and a glass supplier in Yass. From memory, the price is around $200, but shop around as the price varies quite a bit. Rubber is extra, and quite pricey (I have never bought a new one, although next time I will need one, so I can't remember a figure).

Hi mate,
Both O'briens and Instand Winscreens managed to stuff up the times I used them (was a disco II), though O'briens were willing to fix it (and then damaged the roof lining). I all most had to drag Instant winscreens to court for damages after they left a inch gap at the top of my winscreen.

pa. have you figured out how to put your brakes back together...

Cheers

Try Davis Performance Landys at Annangrove. They should have or can get the right seal, too. Fortunately, a Defender screen is probably one of the easiest to do.

I got one of those home visit guys.
Shop around as I recall a price variation of around $150.00. I think mine was low $200 and he re-used my rubber. It doesnt leak in heavy rain either.

This is a family forum! .... where we normally speak Australian English not American English. And in Australian English "rubber" has no negative connotations, unlike American English.
