Well, I woke the other morning to someone elses car on my driveway
Turn outs the handbrake failed (or was deliberately let off) and the car rolled down the hill to my place. Kinda lucky it hit the power/light pole as the D2 was parked on my front lawn not far behind as we had guests using the driveway.
Glad to hear your D1 wasnt taken though, that would be a bummer!

My old ute did that about a year back.
Suss handbrake, and parked in 3rd on a slight hill - over run the engine compression and rolled back.
Funny stuff..

...or the handbrake failed....perhaps needs adjusting if it was on a slope and pulled up fully.
My mates O3 D2 has trouble holding on a steep reverse hill, despite the beautiful driveline design drum brake.
The other morning his was in the street!

My neighbors dunnydore did the same thing, we live in a small court and they are 3 houses up anyway the owner left it in neutral without the handbrake on and it rolled out of their carport in a wide arc and ran into the back of my rangie late 1 night. I heard the bang and went out to investigate only to find the dunnydore wedged under the rear left of the rangie . After they moved it we saw the damage - rangie 1 cracked side reflector, scratched rear step, dunnydore completely pushed in rear end ($3500 damage) i just laughed when they got the quote.
Sounds like someone was trying to steal it, i caught a kid years ago trying to roll my dads hilux out the drive, they were crawling with the door open and i snuck up and kicked the door closed on them :p.

I also reckon that someone was trying to steal it Mick.If you locked your doors and they were open then most probably someone was trying to steal it:mad::mad: With all your new goodies on there i would say they would be after that.It might pay to get an alarm now mate!
