I'm not sure if this has been posted before, I haven't seen it.

It is a repost, of all the vehicles to choose why the hell would you choose a leaf sprung old landy ?

Looks like the designer got confused between a Morgan/MG and a SII landy.

I recon they could go about putting some decent suspention under it if it is going to be capable of 125Mph, I wouldnt want to be doing that sort of speed on a set off 750 16 Grandtreks wobbling away under the guards.

Doesnt look bad though, I wonder if it would be cheaper with the 2 1/4 ltr engine or a Holden 6 :p

But, leaving the rest of the competition behind, a special version will feature the Merlin engine out of another British icon, the Spitfire - and will be able to produce a staggering 1,500bhp.

All the components, from the axles to the gearbox and steering system, will come from classic Land Rover models like the Defender.

Wonder if they really thought that through, economy would be measured in miles per axle.:D

Because it must handle like a go cart. Flick it around a corner at speed with no body roll. Which reminds me of why a series Landy must take corners fast.

I lent my SIII to a friend for a week once, and when he returned it he explained that he now understood why I always took corners so fast, it took too long to get back up to speed when he slowed down.

But I digress, there won't be any power issues with this one.
