Hi
not sure where you are but Triumph Rover spares in SA.

The bigger you go the more strain on running gear and already fickle power steer unit.

Have fun doing it though.

Who told you 265/75/16's wont fit on 16x7 's ? i'm running that size in mud terrains and they fit fine and some guys even run larger. You will need a 2" lift and a camel cut on the rear guards for clearance.

2" spring lift = legal

1" tyre lift = illegal

my local landrover spares bloke told me that larger tyres would easily "pop" off the rims if i went larger than 235/70/16

Actually they're less likely to pop of the wheel;)

They'll fit fine, the only downside is a little more yaw, but its of little consequence
