Small vibration and some research on this site and bingo, problem found,Double carden joint thought it was wedged tread on tyres at first but that made no sense when accelerating. Thank you all for all the info that is posted on this site

02 - hmm, probably doesn't have a centre diff lock that would allow you to remove the front shaft and keep driving. Really need to not drive with that shaft in place, so hopefully you have something else to drive while you get this one fixed or replaced. It looks as though you caught it in time.

I'm lucky, have cdl installed, pick up my work Ute tomorrow (what a coincidence).
The vibration was only tiny and yes very lucky to catch in time.

Going by your 'work in progress' pic you would have done some very expensive damage to all and sundry when the shaft let go.

Somedays it just pays to lie on your back on cold hard concrete for half an hour or so underneath your vehicle :eek:

Just thought id post and say that, 2 uni's with nipples fitted to DC joint cost me $147.00 at Gibbs Truck and Trailer at Burleigh :)
Now to fix a leaky seal in my brake reservoir which has just started :mad:

I hope it was my missery last week that it assist your save it costed me $700:( however I supprosed up the rear to with a new donut
