anyone got one a round the melbourne area that they will sell,if not will go to a rover shop but thought i would ask first

I have one. I was going to put it on ebay but if you PM me an offer I will look at it. I am just in Croydon.

But mine is out of an 87 Rangie, not sure if it would be different.

If yours has failed mechanically, but the electronics are OK, get one from an XF Falcon. Swap the electronics over and bolt it in. Much cheaper from a wrecker than a Rover one. Or so I have been told.

This is valid for the flapper type as fitted to Rangie 3.5s. From memory Disco ones are different. If so, ignore my ramblings!

i spoke with a shop today and they told me a rangie one wont fit,sorry mate

this is unreal,rang two shops for the same product,and got a $300 buck differance in price,some people get robbed when it comes to land rovers

It will be a 5AM same as a 3.9 Rangie or a Jaguar 3.6 or 4.0.
There is a mob on Ebay UK selling chinese copies which seem to work.
