skinny tires

anybody got a set of original series rims and tires for sale/borrow in melbourne/vic apparently wheels can't stick out past the body when you go get a road worthy done?!! argh.

How much do the tires protrude from the body work? you could just fit rubber flairs!

only about 5mm to 10mm i suppose. not much. and that is only side wall.

yeah i wasn't to keen on doing that cos then i would just have to get bigger tires to match lol :D

Have a look at a clark rubber store. you would probably find some rubber seal of the right profile that would fit around the wheel arch to make a sort of mini flair.
