I had not heard of Westlake tyres till today.

Has anyone had anything to do with them, what are they like etc.

I am looking to buy new tyres for the Defender in 235/85 R16. The tyre place I went to yesterday showed me Westlake brand as one of the choices.

A search on the net shows as a Chineese brand. It had a major recall mid last year.


Does anyone know more as they are much cheaper.
