A few things I learnt today, some useful for future reference, others learnt the hard way.
1. Don't advise that "nothing pulls harder than a straight 6 turbo diesel" whilst clambering into your Land Cruiser with an armful of nudie magazines, because clearly one can think of something/someone that does.
2. If your mother lends you her car whilst overseas, don't do the right thing and drop it off at the dealership and pay several hundred for it to be serviced and have the radio unlocked, lest you be accused of stealing the vehicle and receive an uncomfortable telephone call from the local police.
3. Never thank an elderly lady for their assistance by buying them a gift, in this case a bunch of flowers. Florists are hostile environments where dimwitted people have their cards stolen, and then discover several hours later that some bastard has bought $200 worth of **** at your expense:(.
