Its age related, and we all sag a bit as we get older.
The interior hood lining is starting to sag over the drivers and passengers head. Approx 25% of the total so far.
How do we fix it ??
Who are the experts in such matters ?
Where do I put the centre tent pole ?
I believe it a common problem with Discos as well.

Despite how common it seems in disco's, I can't remember a case in a freelander. However, easy option is to take it to your local auto trimmers, and get it removed and relined. That what i did with both our disco's, and looks good. No more problems.
Hasnt happened to the freelander yet tho...

Does seem odd for a Freelander - mine is nearly 11 years old and has done 250,000km and lived outside for most of its life. Its lining is still as firm as a young ladies :o - well you know.
Anyway an auto trimmer can help - it doesn't cost a lot to correct the disco problems.

I had my hood lining done in the rangie for $300 so it shouldn't cost any more than that
