The wharf is fairly small, just drive to where the parking area is then walk to near the end where the tables are. In the unlikely event that it rains!! we will be under cover in the first arcadey type area.
Its not big, while the QE2 has berthed there, there was no room for anything else!
When you drop your vehicle off for service do you want me to pick you up on the Tuesday?

is it very far from town? is it possible to get a bus or anything from the dealership to town?

If you are going to Mitsubishi Motors then the bus stop is alongside the side street that the service department is in. Catch any bus heading towards Darwin it is fairly close. See the thread "what to do in Darwin' by Yorkshire Jon as that lists all the sights to see. If you catch the bus to the terminus, turn left when leaving the bus and walk to Smith Street, The Tourist Info centre is in front of you but to the right ; There is a Tour Bus which leaves from the other end of the Mall and that visits most of the tourist sites probably 30 min service. While Darwin is a lot bigger than Nhulunbuy, it is hard to get lost here.
Keep your bus ticket $2.00 as they are good for 3 hours on any Darwin Bus Service public bus run or there is a $5.00 all day ticket
