Was coming out of the lithgow Valley Shopping Plaza this arvo and on the way out i walked past 2 people dressed in the G4 Challenge gear, both of them were women and both had the UK flag on their sleeves. I looked around the carpark for their vehicle and found a D3 (not in the G4 orange) but it was full of gear, didnt appear to be competition gear, and had a big orange sticker on the top right corner of the rear window with E4 on it. I regret not stopping them and asking now but they were deep in conversation so didnt want to interupt at the time. Was just wondering if they might be planning a stage for the next event or something. Anyone have any ideas or know anything? Matt

I also saw a few well apointed Discos in my recent travels with orange stickers on them and had in the back of my mind it looked a bit G4 somehow.

Hi Matt,

It's probably part of your national selections.

At the moment, each territory is going through a selection process to select finalists (4x IIRC) who are hoping to represent their country in the event. All of these finalists will then be coming over to the UK for a final training & selection event to decide who is going to get to compete in the event itself.

:D

that would actually make sense, now i think about it they may have had an Aussie flag on the sleeve, all i noticed was the union jack as i walked past, sill i know, i should be able to pick up on the rest of the flag :D

They were down near the dam just east of Clarence (where AULRO visited a few months ago) yesterday morning then along one of the powerline tracks in the afternoon.
I was up at Zig Zag yesterday & kept my eyes open for them but couldn't see anyone at all.
