LR mechanic wanted

G'Day,
I have a mate in need of a good landrover mechanic in the Albury/Wodonga area.
his defender (200tdi) is in a sorry state, needing quite a few repairs; clutch, lt77 mainshaft, both pinion seals(sals rear) door latches and a couple of other little bits n pieces
not being from around the area i wouldnt have a clue. ive searched the archives and come up with a couple of names but would like to ask the question directly as i am a little concerned about the mechanic he is currently using
some of it could be DIY, but after the result of him doing the timing belt himself (5 bent pushrods :eek: ).......

makes me glad because plan b was to car trailer it to LRA.
the quote for a re-build (from the original mob) was interesting. but no need for mud slinging
