Hi guys, the Melbourne office where i have been working has shut down due to the current economic climate. Im a civil engineer by profession and been in management roles most of the 14 years ive been working.
Ive been working in the commercial and residential construction sectors.
I need a job!
WA Fly in Fly out jobs unfortunately are proving hard to get as they want mining or infrastructure experience(which i dont have).
Doesnt necessarily need to be in the construction industry - im open to suggestions, locations....
Send me a private message with any contacts, ideas or to see a copy of my CV.
Go on....give me a challenge!!
Cheers
John

Try the WA Local government website.
Pretty sure its WALGA or similar.
Lots of local governments chasing replacements for those lost to the mining industry.

Dude, you should move up this way, Jervis Bay NSW.
The council here is, apparantley, losing 4 engineers before xmas. Cruisey job, but challenging 4WDing, awesome fishing and plenty to explore up and down the coast.
Info on upcoming positions is from my neighbour, he is one of the retiring engineers of which I speak.
Sean.
