Does anyone know how the small light under the bonnet on my 88 Range Rover activates? Is there a switch?

Yes, same as the interior light switch in the door jam, should be in the beaver panel where the bonnet closes - near the hinge, in my 85 rangie was on the left but could be on the right in yours.
