OGJON,

Take one of each for a drive.... they may look very similar, But Disco 1 and disco II are very different animals really.

As for prices.. they do vary around the country - so carsales or drive will help.

Cheers
Mark

I'm not convinced the first one is diesel/auto. I think it may be petrol/manual.

I also recon that there should be some negotiation possible with the others and those kms.

I would recommend looking for good private sales over dealership sales. A dealer would have traded these for about $3000.

Just my $0.02

The first is not what they say it is, to start off with, 93 would have been 200Tdi which didnt come as an Auto and the fact that it has a manual shifter in the interior pic makes me think they either used the wrong pics or just dont know cars......at all and spent more money on the history of their company than information about the car.

Skip that one.

2nd, very high Km's but if well looked after and the proper maintenance done then this isnt too much of an issue.

Price isnt bad

3rd, Price isnt bad, the rest is what the add says but the darker colours seem to attract rust to the safari windows so check them out, if there are bubbles under the rubbers then there will be rust under there.

Im not a big fan of TD5 Disco's, if you were to buy one then get a manual, at least it is one computer that cant stuff up.

300Tdi Disco is great, a little rougher ride than the D2 as well as the D2 is a little longer but the D1 is more capable off road out of the box as far as wheel travel and reliability goes but the D2 comes with traction control.

6 of 1 half dozen of the other and I suppose or each has their draw backs.

Ive got the D1 and Im happy but Im sure the D2 guys will tell you that they are happy with theirs as well.

Just remeber, any landy is a tinker car.....you have to be tinkering with it all the time for it to like you, if you ignor it it will bite you hip pocket.

1st one is an auto.
Look at service history of vehicles, and find out when timing belt last done. have to be replaced every 80,000klm, an expense you don't need after purchasing new.
