What weight oil

just wondering what weight oil i need to put in my defer. 300tdi i think it was 15-40.
dont have the manual with me and i need to get oil on the way home as its my last chance for a week or more.

My owners manual for my Disco TDi 300 says:
- 5W/30 or 5W/40 or 5W/50 (for temperatures between -30 and + 50)
as long as they meet ACEA A1.98 and B1.98 (whatever that means).

Use 15/40 and rated CE and above, CF,CG etc. The oil must be suitable for a turbo diesel.
