Disco two leaking after windcreen replace...

Bloody leaking worse than my Lightweight soft-top!
Any ideas/past experiences? I have read the past posts on this - some have suggested alpine windows leaking or the roof bars.
I had the windscreen replaced and the roof re-sprayed. Previously there was a minor damp spot at the top of the drivers side after a heavy storm. Since the replaced screen both corners are now dampening and the drivers side is soaked. I have raised the roof bars and replaced them with silicone under the neoprene rubber seal to seal them.
The sikaflex is visible all around the windscreen on the inside and the smash repair bloke swears its sealed - is there some way - a weld in the corner for instance - where it would leak?
The only other way water could get in I know of would be the alpine windows (I don't have a sunroof). Could the seal have been damaged by masking tape or similar pulling on them, and would a leak here somehow run to the very front only anyhow, without dampening the headlining anywhere along the way?
If you suspect it is the windscreen anyone know why it is so hard to seal? And where exactly the leack would be?

It's quite common for any Disco roof leaks to only appear at the front. If the skylights leak, then the water runs down into the internal 'gutters' & then along to the windscreen area.

The skylights are bonded on place so masking up won't affect the sealing of these.

My money is on a poorly bonded windscreen but you may have to remove the headlining & give the whole car a good hose down to trace the source.

Can these be removed or only cut out? If they are cut out I understand the whole window is replaced - the seal is bonded to the glass?

Will be selectively hosing car shortly to isolate leak.

You have a non genuine windscreen fitted.
Take it back to the installer and get them to apply more Sikaflex around the edge.They did with mine,wouldnt want to be the next person to change the windscreen.
The last one to do mine took months to fix it,mine was so bad I had wind noise around the top corners of the screen.The installer even tried telling the insurance company they didnt do the job,luckily they gave me their card.Wont name them online.
I did speak to another instalmer about my issue,he mentioned all Discoveries and Rangies are very difficult to seal properly,the non genuine screens are a different shape to genuine and require alot more sikaflex before the screen is fitted.

Disco II screens are notoriously awkward to fit and if the shop isn't used to them, the usual problem is not enough sealant!

The other thing that causes leaks in that area is the drainage channel on the sunroof. However, if it has only started happening after having a new windscreen, I'd start my investigations there.
