Hail on the Gold Coast

Quick warning folks, Im out in the hinterland, just got nailed by hail, had to run out and cover car with doonas......bloody garage is kids room aint it :eek:,

Matt Hey Matt, yeah yeah, I know...karma :). Thanfully got the car covered in doona's and blankets, car seems fine. Though I dont think it was what you could call damaging hail here. About to go through storm number 4 for this arvo,

we got hail last night, funny thing is that when i got up this morning the layer of hail was covered by a layer of snow. Its was a warm shorts and t-shirt day yesterday, then wake up this morning and its back into winter and its bloody snowing. Gotta love lithgow. Matt

Yep, snow is great. I havent done any 4wding in anything that heavy, but im looking forward to it one day.

Reminds me of a trip when we lived in the UK. Driving acountry lane in that sort of weather we saw lights shining out of a hedge. When we looked there was a car upside down on the other side with a note where the windscreen used to be saying gone to wedding be back soon:D.
We ended up being snowed in for 2 weeks.
