Bought a new laptop, only had it for a couple of days and I ended up with Trojans, Virtumonde and one other virus..................lost all my emails. bookmarks etc, fortunately I keep my the bulk of my programs on a remote hard drive. Only got the email going today, now to catch up with the backlog..............

Yeah.............I know where it came from.................one of THOSE sites...

.......... I wanted to download Adaware which I have used for a number of years in conjunction with spybot, unfortunately due perhaps to redwynitis I didn't notice that the site had been taken over by a rogue site called Adware which promptly filled my computer with nasties, so rather than spending inordinate amounts of time in excess of what I alresdy had I decided to call it quits and rebuild the computer, unfortunately time consuming also.

they do go to a lot of trouble to infect us,,,

I usually go to places like "file-hippo" and "major geeks" to avoid such drama,,
