Derek, got to pencil that into the Calendar! Brendan's based in West Yorkshire, whilst I on the other hand are in the best bit - East Yorkshire:D:D
On a serious note Yorkshire is one of the biggest UK counties and is a great place to visit. Im sure between Brendan and I we could gather a few folk to show you some good off-road type stuff...UK style.

Glad you like the thread on the Yorkshire Off Road Club site.
At moment I am enjoying the R & R in Singapore.
Have been able to check things like currency rates. When I started this trip the $Aus was 2.1 to the UK £ Now it is 2.5 $Aus to the £ so it is good for Jon
Against the Sing dollar the £ has gone the wrong way. In May it was 2.8 Sing $ to UK £. Now 2.33 so everything in Singapore costs me 20% more
From Darwin we will be heading south towards Alice Springs, probably going via Litchfield Park then Tamari track.
Any advice on what to do/see/route between Darwin and Alice appreciated.
Regards

Whilst having a weeks R & R in Singapore have had time to catch up with exchange rates.
Bad news is that the UK £ has fallen from 2.8 Singapore $ to 2.4 Singapore $. So everything in Singapore costs me sbout 15% more :(
However the UK £ has risen from 2.1 Aus $ to 2.4 Aus $. So costs in Australia has gone down 15% for me! :D
