Hi All
I am selling my minimoke and am wanting to replace my toy with a series 3
88' hardtop, I found one out the back of NSW in a farm shed for about $1600. It has been rebuilt to about 90% (needs brakes and a couple of other things) and I was after some idea as to the value of this vehicle. Good deal or not etc. Always loved the Landies only got the Disco 300TDI
cause the handbrake said it was the only one she would drive.!
Thanks Ian

The price sounds reasonable for something 90% restored. They can be had cheaper, but by the time you get the vehicle up to spec it's going to cost more anyway. Have a look at ebay & Tradingpost.com.au (see all states) for a sampling of what's about.
Coming from a moke, there shouldn't really be any harsh surprises, the SIII handles like a billy cart too, quite nice to throw around corners when you get used to it - and you have to throw it around corners, otherwise it takes a very long time to get back up to road speed;).

The bump steer is often fun. You never fall asleep on a choppy road:p
