Kudos to Canon

Got a call from Canon today to tell me that they have entirely rebuilt my camera following a liquid ingress. They needed to replace just about every part, including the casing, CCD and USM (whatever a USM is). Best part though is that it was all done at no cost.

Their aftersales support is second to none. A factor worth including when considering your next camera purchase.

Now that's good news

Compared to the frustration/anger/disappointment of the original disaster and potential high cost, this is great news. Bet you can't wait to be reunited with your toy :D , good results all round!
