Just got back from 2 days in Perth and I saw more Defenders there on my 1st day there than I'd see in a week in Adelaide. I saw 3 before I had even left the Airport!! Good work all you WA people.
Haven't been there for 15 years and it has come a way (just a bit!).
Fantastic road system with 3 lane highways all over the place. Didn't have to get out and about in peak hour so maybe they get clogged up at times but easy traveling around the suburbs at the times I was out driving - in my super-duper Hyundai Getz hire car . Was glad to hand that back and get into a LR when I arrived home.

Just imagine how many more you'd see if we had more than just the two dealers (both owned by the same bloke) in the city.

Hello Spudboy,
Just a quick note. I was in Adelade for work meetings over the cup weekend. When I flew back to Melbourne, the Long Term car park at the airport, had 7 Defenders parked in it. My son took great delight in spotting an other one. I did have to drive around to find the exit. This was just one car park. My only thaught was why were they flying when it was a good camping weekend.

Hey Ben, was that you in the red 110 that just drove past my office with a Classic minus its cargo area roof section on a trailer????
Its funny coz I was just thinking yesterday how many fenders and Countys I have seen over the last few days around town. Much like punch buggies......;)

If you head up to Geraldton think there more Defenders there than anywhere else I been in WA.
On a side note I got Tee boned By a Getz that ran a red light in my jeep last year, the old jeep had a few scratches and a slightly bent door sill where the Getz became 2 feet shorter. Won't get me in a Getz after seeing that.

Haven't towed a trailer in years, so that would be no. But there are 2 extra 110s in WA now, thanks to Offender90. (well a county and a 120 to be exact)

OK. Might put a post under "spotted in travel" and see what comes up!

The Getz felt like an 'appliance'. Could have come out of a washing machine factory. Zero character and zero charm. Probably practical and economical but that would be it's high points.
