Hawthorn LR Mechanics

Hey guys,

Have had a bit of a search around in the old posts but i'm looking for a good LR Mechanic (or at least someone who knows a bit about them) in either the Hawthorn area (where i work) or the frankston area where i live.

Need to get them to check the compression on my D2 V8, as i think i'm getting a bit of blow by.

Have previously used Adrian from rangie automotive in lilydale who was good but just a bit far for me at the moment.

Talk to Jack at Vance Motors in Glenferrie Road between Riversdale and Burwood. Good old fashioned garage/engineer rather than a parts replacement/wallet lightening facility. Not an LR specialist but will sort you out. They do a quite a few old exotics, set up Variety bash cars too.

Try Mornington Prestige in Bennetts St Mornington. Mal is a top bloke , has worked with LR's for years & wont stuff you around. Not too far from where you are.
