I broke my 300Tdi drive belt this afternoon.
Luckily I was near a Land Rover specialist in Burwood, so I walked an hour in the rain to get a new one, got back to fit it and it was too long. He confirmed that it was for a 300Tdi, 97, VA but it was still over 700mm too long:eek2:.
How do I move the tensioner to get the new one on? What size spanner? I don't have access to any of my tools or anything.
I'm going to try and get the right one in the morning, and trek back to put it on, provided my car isn't a rolling chassis by then:o.
