Yes, the venerable and much admired DUNE CAR is once more for sale. With additional goodies and scratches. Tempting to me only if he wants a direct swap for an unrestored example

That looks like a real beauty. Is it really worth 10 grand though?

I think he's used the same talent to work out its value:eek:
I sold my Stage 1 for less than half that 10 years ago.

Overhead console (made by previous owner). For our trips it hosted a CD Player, UHF and HF radio as well as storage compartments on driver and passenger side
Bull Bar - Can be easily removed and features mounting points for driving lights
Driving Light harness and connections. The connections are of the water proof kind. We powered HID through it without any drama
Rear ARB Air Locker (2007) - the compressor is under the rear seat and setup works great. Installed by ARB.

Hayman Reese style Towing Bar (2007) - note this is not an original, however build and installed by licensed shop
Parabolic Springs - for increased wheel travel

PolyAir Air Bags in rear (2007)

Old Man EMU Shock Absorbers (2007)
Drawer in Rear
Storage compartments in rear
Two Cargo Barriers. In picture you can see the barrier between the rear passenger seat and cargo compartment. The second cargo barrier (not installed at the moment) goes between the front seats and rear seats.
Cooper Discovery S/T (bought 2007) on Steel Rims (bought 2007)
Additional Fuel Tank under driver seat with electric switch to switch from one tank to the other.
Dual battery under passenger seat, with a manual (insulation) switch

What we had recently fixed: In addition to upgrades above we had the following things done:

Muffler
Gear Box overhaul in 2007

Things you should know being part of the Land Rover Series Charm (you can confirm that this is the case by googling)

The doors close fine, but they don't seal perfectly. They don't from new!
Oil Leaks. They are common and can not be fixed (Land Rover has tried). Wrong they can be cured:twisted: You will find that many Land Rover owners have learned to love it as it provides a good protection against rust. With this car the leaks are not bad enough to cause marks on floor.
Series 3 V8 love high revs As so gutless it needs a run up;)
Note !!! Will be sold without the rear ladder. It is part of a Hannibal Roof Rack which I will sell separately. Contact me if you are interested.

Rust: being 38 years old, you will find rust in places, but nothing structural:confused:

Still a nice stage:D
