Sooner or later i will be getting one and NOT pulling it apart. Whats the chance of me getting 2 green autobiography wrecks, built 1 month apart, and within 600 cars of each vin number.

It has had a hit directly on the front drivers chassis rail, which turned it into an accordian. It has the best chassis crumple zone i have ever seen. The front door gaps are still perfect, and there is only about 3 inches of chassis left infront of the steering box. She still runs and drives, but i need to fix a few things before i start to take her apart and sell the bits on fleabay.

Does anyone recignise the car? it had a few parking tickets from south Yarra region. I would love to get in contact with the previous owner, to find out history.

Oh yeah! I saw that in someones garage yesterday! :D

That was just stunning how the chassis crumpled like that, and in such a limited section! I noticed on the other side how they had pressed that section of the chassis to make it do that. Excellent engineering.

There's plenty of Toorak 'city' tractors down here in Vic, especially if you are meaning 'South Yarra'? I was speaking to a building developer who lives in Toorak, next suburb over, who had one similar, on the weekend. He said his was stolen and crashed, but I think it may have been an 04 model, though he said it was similar to my 99. I'll have to ask him again when I see him. If you're going to put on 'fleabay' could you let me know if you're trading the steer audio controls and the rear boot sub/stacker trim covering - esp if it's grey!!! Also after the flip lid for the drink holders (useful on long trips) thanks, Ren

I'm fairly sure it was owned by someone in the building game, there was a row of gang nails laying in the back.

Any details at all??

I know of a builder who used one as a run-around, it had "courier" on the side so look for that, it may have had roof bars/rack, it was a while ago now and can't really remember, i'm pretty sure it was a green series one but can't be sure. He used to use it to drop stuff off too the various sites, but usually only when there were problems. I can possibly give you a surname via PM, but wouldn't be able to give any more details.

Stu

P.S. If that motor checks out let me know!
