hood sticks / hoops

Hi all,

does anybody know of a company that can make up a hoop or hood stick for soft top in Brisbane without a template? I need one as the one that I have is broken and welded and is all over the place.

Alternatively, does anybody have one for sale? I only need the rear one for a Series 3.

Ive heard of bids on totally clapped out ex army vehicles for $250 + just for the hoops. So I guess nobody makes them.

You can get them new from the UK. But you're looking at $1500 - $2000 by the time you get them shipped over.

(that's for all part's excluding the canvas)

Take your stuffed unit to an engineering shop, and get them to bend up a new one for you, or quote the job at least. The cost should be somewhat less.
