Yeah, I just watched MacArthur starring Gregory Peck.
Apparently MacArthur and the U.S threw the Japanese out of New Guinea!!!!

Apparently MacArthur and the U.S threw the Japanese out of New Guinea!!!!Good thing they were around to save our bacon. Although, had it not been for the US cutting the supply lines for the Japanese to New Guinea it would have been a very different matter.

Great photos. Some of those soldiers are just boys.

Photo 6 is amazing - seeing the projectile leaving the muzzle.

Apparently the Marines have given up on the Barrett 50 Cal and taken up the Russian Draguranov.

:angel:It don,t matter which country's army it is, nearly all the soldiers are young......look at the first world war,17,18 19 year olds,my son joined the army, when he was 17 yrs......still in the army...and these young men and women,are there to protect Australia and its people in times of conflict

i'd argue it being a Dragunov, more likely the Romanian FPK..... uniforms dont look american either

You could be right on the Bangstick, the uniforms are current issue MARPAT.
