I know the 4BD1 has it's own fuel pump, what I need to know is, do I have to remove or disable the fuel pump that is in the fuel tank of the Rangie that I am putting it in or leave it going to keep fuel pressure in the line?

the fuel pump thats on the suzi does not like being force fed nor does it like working against a restriction so your better off completely removing (or at least bypassing) the in tank pump of the rangie.
to save time you can put on an external faucet type pump to help prime the system in the event of running it out of fuel.

Thanks Dave
We will yank the old pump from the tank in the morning and set-up a new feed.
