For all you poor people stuck in the cities or smogged up places where you are unable to see a beautiful moon rising in the still and quiet bush in North Queensland I give you a photo of what you miss tonight.

Full moon is a beautiful sight, especially when you're out bush camping.:p
Funnily enough (just to comment on the above post from Dinty) I remember years ago when I was working at out local primary school, the teachers used to say the kids would always muck up on windy days and they dreaded windy days.
Any teachers on the Forum who can comment on this???
Just curious, that's all.

There is a reason people get called "LUNATICS" so there has to be something to it. Ambo mates also say they get more jobs when there's a full moon.
A full moon is not always 'beautiful' when out camping, sometimes it's just too bright, particularly if you are swagging it.
Here a full moon pic I prepared earlier

Funny you should say that.
Was saying the same thing to the guy who bought the old roofrack this morning, while we were standing outside in the rain, talking about his county.

Absolutely Mrs B, windy days are feral days. On the flip side, hot days are lethargic days.
Here is a pic that I took last year of a King's moon during the eclipse. The kids were very quite that night.

I just thought I would jump into one of those industrial sized tumble dryers for a day or so to get the full effect of Geosurveys once again.
Martyn, did you sell those low racks for the fender? You are not going to get a set of those poofy racks like Numpty got are you?

Main Entry: lu·na·tic http://www.merriam-webster.com/images/audio.gif (http://javascript<b></b>:popWin('/cgi-bin/audio.pl?lunati01.wav=lunatic')) Pronunciation: \ˈlü-nə-ˌtik\ Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English lunatik, from Anglo-French or Late Latin; Anglo-French lunatic, from Late Latin lunaticus, from Latin luna; from the belief that lunacy fluctuated with the phases of the moon Date: 14th century
Pretty much right. More often than not when we have had to deal with odd people from just confused to full on weird or violent it is a full moon or full moon rising.
I love full moons except when I have to deal with the loonies or fishing.
Oh bugger I can feel hair growing, knuckles cracking, teeth elongating. Off to the moor to play. Awoooooo.:p:p
