In the context of it's use on US roads (and no off road), as a commuter vehicle, in a city, well - he's right. :o

Can't argue with the logic there. Feel privileged to have a bit more reason than him to own a 4WD.

1. Land Rover should have supplied the TDV6.
2. They should have given it to a journo who would use it and report on it's use.
3. What a lack of insight!!! When it's snowing and he's doing perpetual 360s on those frozen US freeways (in his lesser urban car), a family in a D3 will be driving snuggly to their winter destination.

It's like doing a review on a new laptop computer and going on about all the features you don't use, because all you do is surf the web and type an email. Well other people use them for a lot more. It wasn't a car review, it was a social whinge.

okay, I'll calm down now.

lol. Maybe the real question is why someone in his situation would be so silly to buy such a vehicle without intending to use its features.

"this vehicle is not suitable for what i need it to do".
Sounds like a journo trying to justify his existance to me
Wish I could afford one, I'd probably scratch it too.
