Hi Guys,
I did a bit of offroad driving last week with the rear suspension raised at times; on several occasions the SLS light on the dash came on then began to flash after a few minutes with the warning chimes sounding (both while rear was raised and also with rear normalised). At each instance I was able to clear the fault by restarting the car.
I pulled the following error out of the SLABS ecu with my nanocom; any idea what this error might mean and how to fix it ?

The SLABS ecu contain the following faults:

FAULT 31-02 rear right corner valve power amplifier open circuit INTERMIT. 000 times
FAULT 31-03 exhaust valve power amplifier open circuit INTERMIT. 254 times

thanks :)

Hi Stig000,
Thanks for the reply; the first instance of the dash light coming on was only about 15 minutes up a bumpy firetrail; subsequent errors were after a river crossing.
Checking the connections at the compressor makes sense, I will remove and clean this weekend.
I guess my real concern is that this is the sign of something else about to fail such as valve block or over-pressurisation ? I have heard that the exhaust valve can be sticky? i wonder if this would cause the type of error I have logged ? and then if it is possible to clean/fix ?
thanks.

Hi,

I just bought a disco 2, it has had the rear bags removed and pedders springs and shocks put on it.

The service book showed a few entries of sls errors so I guess the owners got the poops with it and put the springs on??

The compressor unit etc is all still there though.

I dont know if any problems occur from disconnecting the bags?

yer they dont like been disconnicted, you will get constent lights on the dash, i no when you put springs on p38s you get a kit that plugs in were the eas was an that keeps the computers happy, so i gess you can get one for ya disco if thats your last option if you dont want air sus
