mounting snorkel

gday i have a safari snorkel, but not template i have he bolts, buthow does it mount to the piller?

Flat plate is riveted to the underside (door side) of the A-piller and bolted to the snorkel. Sorry but I don't have any pic's of either my old D1 or D2. They are basically the same though so if you see one around check it out.

i still need the template to mark the guard and safari said 4 - 6 weeks

Have you tried sweet talking a 4wd shop as most new snorkels come with a template and they are only used once. other than that ask them if you can make a copy from it. You could also try contacting safari and telling them that you need a template as you are transfering the snorkle to another vehicle
