Hey

Does anyone know of a good data recovery person in Melbourne?

We have a Western Digital 500gb external hard drive that has had its formatting return to RAW. WD say that we need to send it off to get the data recovered which will cost $99 for an assessment and anywhere from $800-2400 to recover the data!!:o

This is a huge amount, but we would still want to get the data cause this is where we have nearly all of our 4wd videos and pics that we have EVER taken! Thats a lots to lose...

If you can recommend anyone that would be great or better yet if there is anyone on here in the biz?

Angus

I would try something like Free Download EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Demo. (http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizard/download.htm)

Try the free download to see if you are in with a chance.....

At $70, you'd be WAY ahead.

Let me know how you go, I may be able to help further....

Try DrDisk on the Two Wheels forum. Tell him I sent you. He's in Brisbane.

I don't have his email address with me - it's on my PC at home.

Wait. See About Doctor Disk (http://www.drdisk.com.hk/aboutdd.htm)
