hi i use b100 or have done on my patrol my interim vehicle before buying my 130.
I have had various landy's in the past but this is my stayer, i want to run it on bio like i did the patrol, but want to find a hand primer that will fit to a landy's fuel filter as i can pick em up for pennies direct from the uk, can anyone on here suggest a hand primer that will fit the bill, and how does the first filter out the tank cope with bio as the patrol never had one?
Also there is a product just released that supposed to run inline that is designed to take out microbial contamination its made by purefuel technologies, it suggests that as water is present in all fuel, microbial breeds well in the water fuel mix, it also says that microbial contamination is seen as black sludge in storage tanks,it's been known about since 1895,they reckon this stuff can potentially damage injectors ... i can't be arsed to type the article in full here is the website www.purefuelstechnolocies.com and the number +44 1787 888900
The article is in this months land rover monthly my brother sent me over as a pressie , would be interested to know what you guys feel about it?!
Is it another scare-monger thing or is the potential real.
Could be another lets make fuel from water gimmick but
Regards Andy
