Thinking of getting into a 2001 hse r/rover @ $24990 k . Has 104,000 Ks on clock. Read heaps on subject Range Rover site , but can only go by info as read. Nothing like some feedback from existing owners , wanting to upgrade from my 1999 freelander , might as go the whole hag and move to the other end of the spectrom . Do i need a science degree to own one ?.

Thanks for any info , Al

Not a degree, just a copy of Rovercom Lite so that you can see what the bloody thing is thinking...Otherwise, superb vehicle.

I have 2000 model HSE, best buggy I ever had, couple of things to note. make sure you fix problems early before they turn into major problems. Example I have a small leak on my LHS front airbag I've been meaning to replace it for ages and last month aircompressor crapped out as it was being over worked. I had to stuff around clearing the EAS code with laptop, then replaced compressor which was 400 bucks brand new.

Theres plently of forums that will give you all the info u need to know if you want to do your own repairs.
