The brakes on my '85 County started to feel a bit strange yesterday, I thought they probably needed adjusting so I've booked it in to be sorted. However, on the way home from work tonight they felt really weak  When I got home I checked underneath and I found lots of grease around the inside of front tyre, looks like some has also got into the brake caliper.
Can anyone point me in the direction of what has failed ?? Obviously a seal of some sort. It would be nice to get fixed for a trip to Manly on sunday if possible, I guess it shouldn't be driven as it is :(

I had a similar problem with my 93 disco and the cause was the bearings in the swivel housing had worn out. There was excessive play and the seal did not seal allowing diff oil to leak out and all over the brake pads. Jack the vehicle up and check for excessive play in the wheel, especially top and bottom movement. Either way the vehicle should not be driven very far IMHO.
