Traxide SC80 Dual Battery Controller

The wiring diagram for dual battery and winch diagram appears to be incorrect they use red/grey and blue/yellow shouldn't this be red/yellow and blue/grey as per the other diagrams?

Also as my controller will be about a 1.2 metre from both batteries, can I join the red/yellow together at the controller and just run one cable to the battery + post, this would be neater and less cables to run.

I can't see why they cannot be joined together after all they both terminate at the same battery post, maybe I am missing something here, for instance the red wire supplies voltage and the yellow monitors voltage and the same would apply to the blue/grey....

Thanks I had problems contacting Tim by phone earlier but since spoken to him and all resolved provides excellent after sales service .....
