anyone have the specs on the hydraulic pump on a 4db1 used for the power steering?

can you use or do you need to get an up rated pump to run a winch motor ?

pondering............

you can use it to power up a hydraulic winch but it doesnt really make the grade flow wise you will also want to fit a cooler and larger fluid resivior...

ask nice I might just happen to have sitting on the back of one of the moweres Ive aquired to pinch hudraulic bits off of a suitable belt drive pump.

a mate of mine runs his hydraulic winch off his power steering, the down side is when you move the steering wheel the winching process slows down untl you unload the steering valve thingy
