td5 whats it worth?

I've got a 2000 extreme td5 with 170,000 ks on it. might trade or sell it privately and update to a new td4. what is it worth with or without the 165 litre long range tanks. pretty good condition, no bingles, serviced regularly.

I just aquired a 01 xtreme 9 seater with the expedition pack chipped 100,000 ks for 25G in my name delivered to my door;)

Reckon they are a bit low though. I'd be thinking closer to $20K than $15K, but maybe the market is depressed at the moment......

Not much. I got my insurance the other day and they have dropped it to a bit over $18k with all the accessories I have on it. Very disheartening. 2000 TD5 140,000kms.

Hi oldyella 76,

Just for a comparison, not long ago we sold our 2000 TD5 Defender with 150K on the clock for $20K. The clutch was just starting to go as well but the vehicle was always serviced and very well looked after.

It will of course always depend on who is looking to buy, but for your vehicle I would be looking to get at least $20K.

$18-22k Depends on who wants it..its an early model TD5 aswell which wouldn't help.
