Holden staight six adapter kit Wanted ser 111

Hi all i am SA. I have a series 111 1974 six cylinder and i want to fit a Holden straight six 186 to replace original motor for genral use not major off road stuff to do this i need an adaptor kit if any one has a full one or parts or adapter plate I will do a straight swop of the origanal engine i also have a spare engine not complete which i would throw in if any one is keen or i will just pay for kit/parts and postage

Where in SA are you? I've just pulled my 173 and probably want to get rid of the lot (motor and kit) a little later. The only problem that may arise is that mine was mated to a 4 cyl box, and the 6 cyl has a different bolt pattern.

Can anyone confirm?

G'day All, You are correct, the 6 cyl housing is different from the 4 cyl, thats easily changed though, by replacing the 6 with a 4cyl type cheers Dennis:angel:
