Howdy,
Have a few spare parts for free. Mostly 2/2a i believe. Dont require any of these parts for my resto and taking up much needed space. Everything in this pic is included exept gearbox on far right. Pick up is from Lithgow, nsw (Thats where they are in storage).
cheers

the parts are just going to sit in the shed, picked them of flea bay a few weeks ago. Needed a couple of small parts, the rest is spares that could help someone else!

what sort of windscreen wiper motors are there? Cheepies or the real thing?

Are there any rear wiring covers to suit a SWB tub (rounded shape)?

I bought some off Ebay, but they were Lwb instead (long flat).:(

I could be very interested in the Door Tops with windows if thats OK....
Let me know what condition they're in and I'll arrange to come get them.

Thanx Tonestar.

I was bidding on that aswell! :(

Thanks for sharing though. Consider yourself forgiven. :p

Unless someone has already spoken for them, could I take the following for poor old Gus?

- Axle
- Swivel housing and half-shaft
- Springs
- Lift up section of tailgate
- Air Cleaner, hose and bracket
- Mudguard splashplate
- Front valance (the plate that covers the steering arms and sits in front of the rad-sup panel)
- any 2.25P engine bits in there.

I don't want to be a greedy guts though, so if someone else wants something above let me know. Sharing is caring. ;)

Anything I have left over from Gus that I don't need as spares will be donated around too - pay it forward and all that. :)

PS - I am heading through Lithgow on the 3rd and 4th of January - I'm happy to take stuff out to Capertee/Glen Davis or bring stuff back to Sydney for trustworthy people if required.

You willing to send a wiper motor to the States? They are just about impossible to find here.

This stuff is now in my shed, sans the following:

- Roof,
- Windscreens and wipers,
- Door tops,
- Diff internals.

I didn't get much chance to go through it - just shoved it in the shed and went home, so the above may be wrong and or there may be other items gone too.

Happy to share around what I don't need. :)

Hey Shonky,

Is that radiator support panel still there and if so is a a series 2a (the steel grill type). I am near the end of my 71 2a project and mine is all rusted out at the bottom.

Relick.

Hey mate - yep the rad supp panel is still there and in good nick.

I believe the panel is the same between the wide light 2A and the 3, but that is for you to check. You can see it in the picture above, on the left.

It's all yours, but keep in mind it is 300km away from me at the moment so I hope you don't want it quickly! ;)

PM me with any ideas as to how you intend to get it up your way. :)

I don't want payment for it - I only ask that you "pay it forward". That is, help another Landy enthusiast out in some way be it by donating parts or assistance.

For everyone's benefit, I will outline the conditions of this arrangement.

- Parts are free on the condition that they are for your vehicle and not for you to flog on eBay.
- They are on my farm, which is not where I am. This means that I won't be able to check things and cant just grab them and post them.
- The picture above displays the items. If you can't see it consider it not there.
- Nothing there is rare, so it is probably not worth posting things all over the country. I also am at work when post offices are open so it is preferable that the AULRO courier service is used.
- Preference will be given to people who are local and preferably known to me for the above reason. Also, I don't want my home turned into a collections depot.
- Parts are donated as a gesture of goodwill. In keeping with the spirit of the Land Rover community, please "pay it forward" by donating parts or expertise to another Land Rover owner (preferably AULROvian) in need. This is in lieu of monetary payment.

:)

Mr Shonk,

If the instrument panel has the original lightswitch/keystart arrangement, I will take the panel. I am in no hurry so will get it eventually.

hrm... I didn't see that when I picked it up but it may be in one of the boxes. I think I have another spare around anyway so will see how we go. ;)

It is in the pic in post 1, though that doesn't mean it is there now. My 11A has had this replaced and a couple of things redrilled in the panel, so thought if it all looked good would suit my needs.

If it aint there it aint there. No probs.

I have a key that works, so it is no biggie. I just though I would see if that one was being given away, as I would use the swithches and facia and bits and move on what I don't need.

G'day Andrew,
Are those brake drums I see? If so and they happen to be the larger dia. ones and still available, i'd be interested in them.
Door tops too, but i might be able to fix the all Al ones I have.
Finally, a windscreen wiper arm and those demister spreader thingoes if available/unspoken for.
Cheers,
Mark

Ahoy. Didn't read the thread? :p

Haven't checked the size, but if they are 11" then they will be going on gus. ;) You need a VH44 booster to run the larger brakes also I believe. (got it, but again for gus.)

Door tops gone. :( The Al ones should be salvageable. ;)

Wiper arms from this lot aren't there, BUT... I do have some though so I will dig them out for you next time.

Didn't see demister vents either but I'll check better next time.

I read the thread....yesterday
Makes it easy then, nothing good for me nothing to worry about :p
If you do come up with the wiper arm, that'd be tops thanks, if not, i'll just have an amputee Landy :D
Talk to you later sometime,
Mark

If it makes you feel better, Ambrose is an amputee at the moment also after Corowa, and Gus was only born with one! :o

Check your profile messages. ;)
