I will be back in Melbourne as of this Sunday.
Looking for a good Land Rover Mechanic in the west as this is where I will be for a little while till I get my Sh#t sorted out.
Got a couple of issues to get sorted out with the Disco, I don't know who to blame so I will just get it dealt with and move on and enjoy my ride.
Has not been a good start to Land Rover ownership.
On a brighter note, just finished my first tank of fuel, 870k's of highway, around Brisbane's peak hour and just runing around Hervey Bay and the most fuel I could squeeze in was 84 litres.
So I can't complain about that.:)

Cheers Lionel

All the good ones I know of are out east or north, sorry.

You might be able to negotiate a loan car.

East, North, thats fine, I can ride my bike to work for a few days if need be.
Closer to home just would have been more convenient.
Just want someone who knows what their doing.
Too many mong's in the world today calling them selves mechanics.
Thanks
Lionel

Hi,,

some to have a look at mainly depending on where you are but as Wayne said most are eastern. LRA might be the closest for you:

LRA: Les Richmond Automotive (http://www.lrautomotive.com.au/)

AMV: www.amv.com.au (http://www.amv.com.au)

Range-rov: Range-Rov Automotive-Welcome Page (http://www.range-rov.com.au/)

Deacons: Deacon (http://www.deaconauto.com.au/)

Ritters: http://www.ritters.com.au

Fred Smith: no website.

I use AMV, no problems so far and they provide load cars on request.

Good luck.
