dash needles

hey guys, merry christmas :D

can anyone tell me if you're supposed to be able to see the speedo dash needles at night time? im assuming that you would be able to, the reason why im asking is that all four of my guages (temp, tacho, speedo and fuel) the needles dont light up, only the background lighting (green illumination) etc..


is there a way i can fix this? i checked the fuses and they all seem to be in order.. i searched on this forum, maybe i missed it, but i couldnt find anything relating to this..

a) if i can fix this can someone please post a comprehensive step by step method of how to fix it,
b) if i cant fix it, is there a way i can light up the needles on the dash

In the top of the instrument pack there are additional bulbs that illuminate the needles. Maybe they need replacing. They are the same as the bulbs that illuminate the gauges.

but all area dead... so is there a chance that there could be a loose wire? or is it all intergrated etc..
