Hi all,
Want to go down the tubeless track for ease of repair if alone.
Will the standard disco 1 silver rims fit the defender without modifications? Also can I run the 235/85 BFG At tyres on them,
Thanks,
Mary

Plenty of people use them as tubeless 7 inch options are limited. I did for a while but changed because the offset meant the tyre ran very close to the rear spring carrier on the chassis. Although standard rims only sit about 10mm further out.
Eventually I intend trying to weld the bands of a set of D1 rims to series 3 centers, with a reasonable offset.
Another option is King Wheels 16x7 tubeless with 0 offset, come in black only for about $120. They look a good solid rim.
