Which way do you plan on going in? The reason I ask is that I need to meet up with you when you get there as I won't be driving down to Coomera from Brisbane if you know what I'm saying.

I am saving it for a blast at that ridiculous track that we havent managed to do yet in the very near future....

We will be going in up Carl Baron Drive

For the late comers I suggest we use UHF23
(33 is repeated to Warick at Ormeau)

So 9AM at the BP Coomera sounds good

We will have the D1 complete with its new sliders

Cheers

Went in for an hour or so with MickG earlier, and it is very very slippery.

I would be wary if anyone is on road tyres.

Couple of pics below: (I am also uploading a couple of vids which I will add later)

well we had a good time, no real damage or breakages, although i bent the rear bar again and garry did both ends a bit - wow the new sliders are the bees knees - wish i had them long ago, wouldn't have those annoying character marks on the doors! and i blew a power steer high pressure hose [checked the manual - no wonder it ditched the fluid so fast 1000psi hose.
twas dry all around except for some spots which were easily skirted by some, even the creek run was clean as the creek has changed quite a bit and is navigable almost right through except for bolts rock.
thanks to all that came out, and sorry for finding crook tracks and creeks, and having to hold you up to winch myself out.
two photo's - loading is taking soooo long!

You may need someone with a diagnostic unit to deflate the SLS system and then clear any faults if you get any after installing the kit. Also I think you may need to recalibrate the ride height with the lift. I could be barking up the wrong tree but best to check first. Maybe talk to Rick???

Longstroke helped one of the locals in Coffs (Red D2 for those that know the Coffs locals) change from airbags to springs last week and the car would not start after the change, not sure what but something needed resetting  I know not very helpful but probably relevent :D

I have a Nanocom and should be able to reset the necessary for Stevo.

Yep i helped Matman put a 2" lift in his d2 last week, we just unhooked the airbags put the kit in, went to start it, all the lights on the dash lit up like a christmas tree, hazard lights came on, the motor kicked over but wouldn't start:mad:
His disco had to spend a night in our shed while our landrover man came with his diagnostic computer the next morning.
He narrowed it down to the central locking system and left us to read the hand book, it told us to type in all these stupid codes into the locking system.
That didn't work, so dad had a chat to another d2 owner and he said to just press the reset button in the engine bay, what do ya know it worked!!!
So i don't think there is any need for a computer apart from telling the airbag lights on the dash to stop flashing;)

CHEERS TIM.
