Depends on the price but 291KK seems a lot. Do you kow if the V8 has been rebuilt at some stage? Cam would be well and truly stuffed if still original; sticking valves maybe also be a problem. Same goes for the auto box. What's the body like - check around the alpines and under the rear cargo floor for tinworm. Any knowledge of it's history - tarmac tractor or offroad bush basher?

Yeah it is alot! I was reading it as 191,000!! Stupid eyes. Even after I yped 291xxx. Ive seen another , a 97 model thats got 138xxx on it. Ill arrange a look at that too.

In regards to what your asking, I will have to ask when he rings, or emails me. Yeah its too many kms, but wont hurt to have a look at it. Get an idea of whats around.

Here is the other one I was talking about. Used Cars for Sale | LAND ROVER DISCOVERY drive.com.au (http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/LAND+ROVER/DISCOVERY/Sydney/detail.aspx?id=10323296&lid=10323296&pg=1&pp=1&d=0&nv=1&SG=1934666621&pt=1)

I dont feel like typing it all up!

Again, I dont know much about this vehicle. I will have to contact the dealer and ask a few questions.

I'd rather the one with 138,000km on it

The 138k one looks a better bet and it's a good price for that mileage. The V8 with the 4 speed auto makes the Disco a real smooth cruiser.

Wow nice price for that kms, i gota be honest sounds too good to be true man. Most of the the disco's i looked at had more kms (around 160,000 i would consider average) and were about 2k more expensive. Just have a good look for rust.

the one on drive is a disco S, so they didn't come with many goodies, ie no airbags, alloys, can't recall about cruise, electrics etc - but this may be partly responsible for the lower price. The ad says it has airbags, but from the pics, it clearly doesn't...

You can ad on cruise control alloy rims etc, so it would be a good buy if there's nothing wrong with it;)
As said take it for a test drive and check under the carpets for rust:)

Yeah i guess the spec level would make a difference in price. Also rust is common in the alpine windows. Power windows are also often stop working either due to broken mechs or bad soldering on the controler both are relativley easy fixes and u could knock a bit off the price if they are faulty.
