My 110 is in this months LRM

(Why does February 09 issue comes out in December 08???)

An article on Land Rovers in Poland and there is a photo of my 110 in it.

Well we had a trip to Poland and the Czech Republic in Easter 07. Met up with Simon, an ex pat married to a Polish lady, who is strongly involved with Land Rover Club (http://www.land-rover-club.com) and www.landy.po

The shot used was a slightly different angle of this one. It is outside a shrine to St Florian the patron saint of fireman.

Seeing that photo made me look at a few others I have.

Wild camping is not really lawful in most eastern European countries. These thought we were off to camp in the woods. An 'interesting' conversation ensued about LR

You must remember the political background to Eastern Europe. Also the economic use of land in Europe can be more intense then in Australia. In the old Eastern bloc the communist rulers would not have been keen on wild camping as they would not have control of the movement of its citizens.

In comparison wild camping in the Scandinavian countries is accepted as long as a few basic rules are followed i.e. minimum 150 metres away from a house and obvious non agricultural use of land.
